Journey starts from Pontianak crossing South China Sea to Karimata Strait takes 6 hours to arrive in Ketapang, the nearest city to the Mount Palong. It is one of the Borneo orangutan inhabitants of Borneo Island, as well; proboscis and other types of monkeys inhabit the area of Mount Palong. Tropical rain forest is the main attraction in this journey. A named tree is on of the tour attractions. This activity is intended to remain anybody not do logging and to keep tropical first hand rain forest.

Adventure, driving, river boating, and jungle trekking are parts of the journey. On the way back to Pontianak, the journey goes down through the rivers to see mangrove-forest
